Needle roller bearings are with cylindrical roller, relative to its diameter, which is thin and long, called a needle roller. In spite of its small cross-section, the bearing still has a high load-carrying capacity and therefore particularly suitable for applications where the radial space is restricted. The needle roller contour surface is slightly contracted at the proximal end face. Roller and roller contact line correction results can avoid destructive edge stress.
